Dreamlight Valley Onion

The onion is a vegetable used in recipes and for refilling your energy. It can be grown in the garden using onion seeds or purchased at Goofy’s Stall in the Forest of Valor.

Onion seeds are unlocked after the second upgrade of Goofy’s Stall. At that time you can buy both the seeds to grow an onion or a ready-to-go onion.

Purchasing seeds and growing your own crops may cost less, but it also takes more time and energy. As you’ve probably guessed, buying produce and supplies costs more, but gives an instant reward.

Seeds can be planted in any biome, however planting onion seeds in their native area will allow seed packets to grow 10% faster than if they are planted in another land.

After planting, an onion seed packet takes 1 hour 15 minutes to grow and needs 2 waterings until it can be harvested.

How to Use Onions

Ingredients can be placed in your virtual world by highlighting the item you need inside the inventory window, choosing the amount and selecting drop. They then can be positioned differently using the furniture placement mode.

Onions (as with all veggies) can be eaten to refill energy and used to create meals for quests.
