Summer Sizzle Event
Summer calls for BBQ and water activities during the day and bonfires at night. Get both summertime goodies during the Dreamlight Valley Summer Sizzle Event! Take a peek at the brand-new outdoor furniture and woodsy shop items. During this limited time event, mini quests pop up and must be completed to earn exclusive prizes.
From August 5-18, stay cool with the Summer Sizzle Event. Starting with a marshmallow hunt, gather blue and pink marshmallows throughout The Valley to create two gooey cooking recipes. Next, earn birding and hiking achievements as you complete special activities and adventurous hobbies!
Complete daily quests to get a Lake Boat and other lake-friendly structures. Summer Sizzle Event quests include requests from Goofy and friends from Disney’s The Little Mermaid and Wall-E. It’s a cozy event worth completing just for the Lake Port alone.
Collect Marshmallows
Search the Valley for special marshmallows needed for two delicious new cooking recipes, Roasted Marshmallows and S’mores. The pastel-colored marshmallows can be found throughout The Valley daily.
Take advantage of frequent opportunities to gather sweets—collect the sweet treats up to three times every half hour. Check the designated spots to collect supplies you’ll need to cook gooey s’mores around the camp fire.
Set a reminder to collect the sugary treats often from their corresponding Valley areas. Using a timer or alarm will help you collect recipe ingredients quickly and often.
Searching for Marshmallows
While the marshmallows pop up several times an hour, players need to locate both the pink and the blue marshmallows to complete tasks and two new cooking recipes. Here are some tips that will help your search:
Pink Marshmallows
- Found on any of the Valley’s three Pink Marshmallow Bushes
- Appear in your Plaza or Peaceful Meadow
- Pink marshmallows can be collected up to 4 times every 30 minutes
Blue Marshmallows
- Found on any of the three Blue Marshmallow Bushes
- Appears in your Plaza or Peaceful Meadow
- Collect blue marshmallows every 30 minutes for up to 4 times
New Cooking Recipes
Pull over your outdoor lounge chair and grab a stick, it’s time to make S’MORES! Gather the recipe ingredients, find the closest cooking station and create one of two new summer-time classics:
- Roasted Marshmallows 2 Blue Marshmallows, 2 Pink Marshmallows
- S’mores: 1 Blue Marshmallow, 1 Pink Marshmallows, 2 Wheat
New Crafting Recipes
A day at the lake, anyone? Exciting picnic items like a Barbecue Cooking Station, a crafting station styled for summer, a cooler for your snackies and beverages. When Fall creeps in, this Summer event—along with its camping furniture and delicious sweet treats, will disappear. Don’t worry, though, you’ll still be able to complete events within the Pixel Update.
