Dreamlight The Shadow Play Quest

Mulan can’t wait to share a childhood activity with her Valley friends. Help Mulan gather the items needed to perform a special puppetry show for the Villagers. During The Shadow Play Quest, players will repair stage materials, solve last-minute theatre problems and help put on a puppet show celebrating Chinese culture.

Before unlocking Mulan’s quests you’ll want to unlock new friends, do simple tasks to collect items and perform Valley activities to prepare for the big show.

Help Mulan and Mushu successfully pull off a special puppet show to get new crafting recipes, themed supplies and an exciting new store to add to any biome you choose.

Quest Overview

During this quest Mulan gifts players Mulan’s Tea Stall which is the only place to find Jasmine Tea Leaves, Oolong Tea Leaves and Chrysanthemum Tea Leaves. The stall’s offerings are the same daily and are automatically restocked at scheduled times each day.

The Shadow Play Quest is a Friendship Quest with several friendship goals that need to be completed before players can unlock this quest. Play smart and take time to look over each quest character’s favorite meal and gifts. These 3 preferred items change daily and improve Villager relationships faster.

Mickey Mouse and Mushu join the drama-filled adventure! If you’re trying to get ahead, level up these two friendships as well before for the event.

To locate a neighbor’s 3 favorite gifts, open the game menu, go to Collection followed by Characters then select any villager to view their three daily item preferences.

  • Shiny Garnet (1)
  • Dream Shards (4)
  • Coal (12)
• Craft an Empty Draconic Garnet at a crafting station
• Confirm the Empty Draconic Garnet is in your inventory
• Deliver the Empty Draconic Garnet to Mushu
• Add the Draconic Garnet to your inventory
• Deliver the Draconic Garnet to Mulan
• Place the Shadow Theater anywhere in the Valley
• Enjoy Mulan’s shadow play
• Talk to Mulan about the shadow play

This friendship quest is fairly simple to push through. There is one effect players can enjoy. If you place and visit the Shadow Theater at night to see a cool effect.
